With this, FONY developped from a software team, to more or less a software dealer. This was the first time, that FONY sold something they didn't make theirselves, so it was more or less distribution.

The translation of this game was done by Takamichi & Maarten ten Huurne and was released at the fair of Tilburg in 1997. This was a very very big hit over there and sold lots of copies.

A lot of people think that this game, is probably the BEST game ever written on the MSX system. As you all probaly know, it is a sequel to Metal Gear 1, also by Konami. Solid Snake was released in a time, almost no games from Japan were released in the English language anymore. The latest version of this game, Metal Gear Solid is only available on the SONY Playstation. This is also a reason a lot of MSX-ers are buying a Playstation lately.

This game has a very long, 2 part intro and some terrific in game Graphics and Music. Even if you take the latest Metal Gear from the Play Station, there will still be some sounds and tunes that come from the original MSX game

You need an MSX - 2 with at least 512kB of RAM and a SCC cartridge DOWNLOAD .IPS file
